Applications are now open for the Growing Together: Small Business Grant (2023)! This program is designed to support and strengthen local small businesses. Our goal is to uplift and support small businesses, providing the resources and guidance necessary to cultivate growth and achieve unparalleled success. Ballyhoo’s mission is to foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing opportunities for small businesses to shine. By utilizing Ballyhoo Media’s cutting-edge advertising solutions, grant recipients can maximize their exposure and enhance their marketing efforts.
Ballyhoo Media, is partnering with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce to offer $100,000 in billboard advertising to support local companies. Small businesses in Aventura, Bal Harbor, Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Golden Beach, Hallandale Beach, Haulover Beach, Hollywood Beach, Sunny Isles, and Surfside areas, are encouraged to apply.
Our reach knows no bounds! With visibility spanning across high-rise residential and office spaces, lively public parks, bustling highways, scenic walking paths, sun-kissed beaches, and the magnificent intracoastal waterways, your message will transcend the ordinary and command attention from all corners of the community. Recipients of the grant will receive four-weeks of advertising, millions of impression from potential customers, ad consulting and marketing strategy. As well as vibrant photography and cinematic drone footage of their floating advertisement to use across mediums and social platforms.
● Have a physical business address located within the following city limits: Aventura, Bal Harbor, Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Golden Beach, Hallandale Beach, Haulover Beach, Hollywood Beach, Sunny Isles, or Surfside
● Have between 1-50 employees
● Have been in operation for at least 1 year
● Be a for-profit business

2020 Reopen Miami Small Business Grant Case Study
Challenge:
Many of Miami-Dade’s businesses experienced disruption resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 forced businesses to pivot from normal operations and business practices and to the “new normal”. This stretched many small businesses thin due to reduced business and lack of visibility to attract clients/customers.
Solution:
Ballyhoo Media launched the “Reopen Miami” program with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, offering $20,000 worth of digital advertising to local small businesses in an effort to “Reopen Miami.” Five local companies receive one month of advertising, ad design consulting, and assistance to jump start their marketing strategies.
Results:
Five Miami-based businesses (Cao Bakery, Clevelander Hotel, Keller Williams Realty, Shuckers Waterfront Grill, and Thriller Miami) were awarded four weeks of advertising on Ballyhoo Media’s floating billboard boats. During that period, they received millions of impressions from local residents and visitors along the intracoastal waterways, free ad consulting, and marketing assistance, leading to increased business and brand awareness.
